Tor Prep Service Learning Club
The Tor Prep Club is an after school program available to all students enrolled at Scott Collegiate Academy. In this program, students are able to get a snack and participate in various activities.
This is the Service Learning Club. Our purpose is to elevate the student morale on campus and do volunteer projects that involve our community. In the process, we also have a lot of fun!
Activities we have been involved in or sponsored so far:
-
Motivational posters - students created motivational posters and put them up all over campus as a way to encourage students at the STAAR tests rapidly approach.
-
Donut Drive-by - students handed out donut holes and a thank you note to parents as they dropped off their students. This was our small way to let parents know we appreciate them.
-
Beautify a Bucket - students are participating in this activity sponsored by Artist Boat. They are decorating a trash can that will be located on the beach. Additionally, we are doing this to honor one of our teachers whom we lost this year to cancer.
-
Keep watching - who knows what we will do next!
